XenICs offers a full solution for recording high speed data to PC.
The basic system configuration consists of:
- High-speed infrared imaging camera
- Data acquisition PC with
- Extended memory of 2GByte
- Mainstream Dual-core CPU
- Server-class RAID board
- About 6 disks in RAID 5 (or 6) configuration, size between 250Gb and 500Gb, depending on the amount of netto storage needed.
- GigaBit Ethernet connection
- CameraLink frame grabber or CL to GigE convertor
- X-Control software
The XenICs high speed infrared imaging system is a complete, well-designed, fast-rate, infrared imaging solution. The system is based upon a compact, rugged and integrated camera, featuring a high frame rate, with a 14-bit dynamic range, and is available in short-wave infrared (0.9 μm -1.7 μm), mid-wave infrared (3 μm - 5 μm) and extended mid-wave infrared spectrum (1 μm - 5 μm).
The camera is capable of supporting user-defined sub-windowing and integration time parameters, allowing a very high frame rate. The system delivers a full-frame digital video output of 350 frames per second (fps) for the 320 x 256 arrays, or 90 fps for the 640 x 512 arrays. The camera accepts external event synchronization sources, and provides fully processed digital video images.
The X-Control image processing & analysis software gives the user full control over the camera settings through USB 2.0 control interface. X-Control has a user-friendly MMI, including a long-duration, high data-rate recording feature. Combined with the dedicated data acquisition hardware indicated, it is capable of storing a very large sequence of high frame-rate digitally captured images.
