Leuven, Belgium – August 5, 2005 — Xenics – global market leader in innovative infrared detector and camera solutions for a wide range of industrial applications in spectroscopy, non-contact temperature measurement, and smart imaging – will move into new, larger offices in the Haasrode Business & Research Park in Leuven at the beginning of August 2005.
For Bob Grietens, founder and CEO of Xenics, the company’s move into its own floor in the Haasrode Business & Research Park in Leuven was urgently necessary. “At just under 400 m2, the new office space offers far-reaching expansion possibilities for our company. In particular the Support, Customer Applications, and Sales divisions will be expanded further.”
Just 15 minutes’ drive to Brussels airport and with direct access to the highway, Xenics’s new headquarters are centrally and conveniently located. Xenics – founded in 2000 as a spin-off of the IMEC research center – will also be stepping up its investment in the company’s personnel structure in the medium term. The sensor production will not be affected by the move and will remain at the old site Kapeldreef 75.
